Experienced in elder care, physical assessment, daily hygiene & skin care, and safe mobilization. Experienced in medication administration, foot care, wound care management & dressing changes. Able to suction, tube feed & flush, and perform/record bowel routine. Experience with physical and mental disabilities. Ability to entertain, distract, stimulate or calm and socialize with clients affected by Dementia or Alzheimer's. I am a retired Registered Nurse and truly miss being allowed the time to interact with senior clients. I believe every individual deserves to be treated with the same dignity, privacy and respect that I would want for my parents especially at this stage in their lives.
