Hello, Dear Sir/Madam, My name is Dahlia, 30 y.o.. I am compassionate and experienced elderly caregiver from Philippines, and I am working as a caregiver in Israel. About my education: I have a bachelor in education, and I also underwent training in caregiving. About my experience: Since 2009 I have been working in Israel as an elderly caregiver. My client is 78 y.o. he suffered from stroke. Mu duties are to change diapers and catheter, cook nutritious food, transferring the client from bed to wheelchair(using a machine lifter), assist in bathing and maintaining personal hygiene. I feed and give medicines to the client. I also monitor his vital signs and provide around the clock care. From 2006 to 2008 I worked as a domestic helper in Taiwan. My duties were: gardening, doing the household chores, caring for pets and I also helped to look after an elderly, 92 y.o. About my approach in working with elderly: While working with elderly, t is important to work in ways that respect the elderly person's privacy and dignity. I know how to deal with them especially when they are hopeless because of heir situation. I can make them smile despite of their sadness. I have a deep sense of empathy and patience. I always listen to their stories even if they are already told to me many times. About myself: I am pretty healthy. I do not smoke nor drink. I like Christian music, it is very uplifting. I have a little knowledge of Swedish Massage. I am hardworking, warm and loving. I am a born-again Christian. Languages:English, Hebrew, Filipino. My future plans: I want to work as a caregiver in Canada because I want to share my knowledge, abilities and experience and so to be able to provide financial support to my mother in Philippines. I would be happy to find a friendly family in Canada and start working with a long-term contract.
