Elder Care in Etobicoke, Ontario

I am seeking a job as full time caregiver to elderly. I am a well experienced PSW working as an on call. I have 4 years of experienced with elderly clients with related disabilities. A very compassionate person and can easily build trust to clients and good relationship to families as well. My main function is to provide care which includes meal preparations ( preparing nutritious and appetizing foods to clients), safety assurance at all times ( encouraging to use canes and walkers and avoiding clatter on their way). I also encourage them for some social activities with friends if required, walking exercises or any activity that they are indulge to. Companionship, slight housekeeping, accompanying them to their doctors appointment and medication reminder. My experienced molded me to become a confident caregiver with some knowledge in transferring and lifting. I had training with certificates in Palliative care and Dementia and dealt also with this kind of clients. In my long years of working with elderly i always give satisfaction to my clients and their families. Life is short in that we have to enjoy the most of it. Behavioral changes as they suffer from pain and discomfort needs more love and care, be understanding, patience and share your heart. Always provide a dignity to elderly.
