I have Diploma in Social Services Worker/Immigration and Refugee. During my course of training,worked with YWCA as a resource Coordinator. I had the opportunity to work with people of different ages. Conducted resume, interview, and cover letter help for clients. Provided Job Search workshop. Liaise with other agencies in terms of referral and advocacy. Information was provided to clients on daily bases depending on their needs. All government forms were also filled. I also worked with Unison Health and community Services as an APSW/Case Manager. Managed individual's banking, advocacy with landlords, attends medical appointment, make referrals to other community organizations, requests for PSW to work with clients and ensures clients' safety. I also work with seniors in a private setting-their homes and I provide job including: heavy lifting over 25 pounds, continuous walking and standing, . lifts, wheelchairs and household appliances. I carry out Routine Personal Activities of daily living: transferring / positioning / turning, dressing/undressing, assistance with eating, toileting / bowel routines, exercises / range of motion exercise. Homemaking Services: cleaning, laundry, shopping, planning menus according to individual's preferences. I have helped individual, families, youth, children or group to increase the quality of their collective and/or individual well-being, and still in the business of making them have sense of themselves.
