I don't consider this application as applying for a job. I'm looking to be a friend and help mate for someone I grow to care about and for. I was in this same position as you are 8 years ago. I was the caregiver for my paralyzed brother and we too had to interview and work with caregiver applicants. It was a headache experimenting with new people who didn't understand that they were coming into our home, sanctuary not just their job. My brother was not a machine, but a person. That experience has molded me into doing additional services as a caregiver.
