Elder Care in Richmond Hill, Ontario

Hi. I am a certified PSW and I have attended the support program at York Region District School Board in Richmond Hill, where I enhanced more my communication skills, sense of camaraderie and provision of compassionate care. Along with my current Public Health Ontario, Food Handling Safety, First Aid, CPR and Personal Support Worker Certifications. I am confident that I will meet your expectations for a care provider. I used to work in Longo’s as a production worker with the goal of making sure that our products are always fresh and safe to be consumed by the customers. I have assisted several clients in their activities of daily living during my placement in Elginwood Long Term Care Center and Community & Home Assistance to Seniors. Also, I have been taking care of a client with Alzheimer’s disease for more than a year and currently looking after a client with Multiple Sclerosis. I am a mature, caring, hardworking person who is pleased in making other people untroubled and safe. I am a cheerful person who can adapt with new environment easily and can carry out the responsibilities given to me with confidence. I speak Filipino and English fluently and I am able to read body language even if I don’t speak residents’ languages. Moreover, I used to assist a client from 9:30 am– 1:30 pm. As of now, I am currently working in Elginwood Long Term Care. My availability varies but will be determined once negotiated. I am seeking to find a full-time or part-time position payable by cash.
