Elder Care in Alexandria, Ontario

I am presently looking for a full-time position in the healthcare field with the elderly. My education and experience is in North Carolina where I graduated as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant II). I have worked at a hospital for approximately 2 years on a fast pace surgical/medical floor. I was responsible for the care of post-surgical patients and patients with a wide variety of conditions. I also worked for several years in a long-term elderly facility that offered several physical therapy treatments as well as assistance in ADL's with patients that lived with age-related illnesses and different degrees of disabilities. I also have worked as an aid in an in-home care for elderly patients and patients with disabilities. I came back to Canada to care for my mother who's health was failing. I managed to spend priceless time with her while caring for her at home until her passing. I am now looking to provide care and assistance for the elderly at home or in a facility. I look forward in providing my services where they are needed.
