Just completed eight years of total care for a 81 year old Lady with Bipolar/ paranoia/ schizophrenia . her companion/ adviser/ friend. did all of the shopping and various errands/ all of the cooking. and transportation to all medical apt in my car. day trips to various locations at her request.
Her family decided she would be better off in assisted living bolstered by a court opinion as such, this is now where she is housed. ( She hates it !) But there is nothing I am able to do. I believe they just wanted the house !
