When my mother found out she had cancer my sisters and I took care of her and my elderly uncle. In the end I sat with Mom repositioning her and pretty much anything she requested I did. My uncle had terrible wounds from poor circulation and the wound clinic taught me how to care for them since the assisted living care would not.
