BUSY CLOSING UP MY FARM BUSINESS AS I PREPARE TO MOVE BACK TO THE CITY END OF FEB...AVAILABLE MARCH IF kindness, patience, and a very experienced carer is what you want for your loved one I may be a perfect fit for a live in position? Time off would often be spent with my family in .Burnaby. Years ago I was an LPN in Ontario in general, geriatric and psych nursing and enjoyed that. I went on into other careers as my resume partially shows. My interests are in eating with careful nutritional standards (you are what you eat) therapeutic massage, art, music cooking and and I relax by reading a lot of historical books...also am always learning about natural health and healing..and a wide variety of things that teach me something new... I am presently living on a farm i bought in Creston BC which I have worked and loved for the past 10 yrs but I am ready to come back to the big city again. I want to be involved with a family who is supportive of their elder and will also be of me. I not a nit pickie person but I can certainly do all the things to keep a house going nicely with a tidy and quiet atmosphere. I probably won't bother with a car there though my drivers abstract is fine as is my criminal record check. I have a renewal CPR in March here but may just re do it in Burnaby or Vancouver on days off, I am friendly and warm, I believe in giving what you would want for yourself. PS I have highly natural sense of fun as you can see by my photo..Actually, .I just didn't have a recent photo of me but can get you one as you wish. I am sort of average in terms of height and weight, and have often been told I am a super pleasant person. In terms of time (I can be flexible) I will do the hours needed but want a nice cozy quiet spot to relax and sleep. I truly value honest, kind people who also have a sense of fun and I adore cooking and pets. I am a believer in" Let your food be your medicine" so enjoy doing a lot of reading about that and modern medicine, as well as really enjoy cooking nutritious meals. I also bake breads and healthy cookies best. I cared for my husband's mom and dad till they passed as well as my mom who has dementia. I will be moving mid Feb, so beginning work March 1 if I find a good match. Anymore questions you are most welcome.
