Hi there! I am a compassionate caregiver who graduated from a TESDA-accredited school in the Philippines. I spent my OJT days in an orthopedic hospital and a home care facility in my country. Before I took the Caregiving course, I was the personal caregiver of my grandmother for over 2 years. I assist her with her daily needs like eating, bathing, medications, bed making, washing clothes, running errands, as well as traveling. My journey at Tebow Cure Hospital was short and great considering that I learned a lot about handling patients in a hospital environment. I change the bed more frequently than normal to avoid contamination from different diseases. We wore PPEs during work hours to avoid personal contact with patients who have symptoms of covid while getting their vital signs. I also remove dextrose and IVs with the consent of the on-duty nurses if the patient is ready for discharge. I clean the wounds after the surgery and change their hospital gowns once there are visible drops of blood on them to keep them clean and neat. I also keep the ward and surgery rooms clean by disinfecting and mopping the floors, surgery tables, ward tables, and equipment for the safety of the patients. Also, I’ve been a customer service representative in the BPO industry for 4 years and a half, handling two different accounts during that timeframe. Let me know if you have any questions.
