I was formally a care giver to a disabled woman and also nanny to her son I understand that it can be a challenging position. Caring for another is a rewarding job, I love being able to help some one have a better quality of life . I am also a trained Chef and understand basic information about nutrition, food allergies, and caloric intake. As a care giver before I was often preparing three separate meals per the sons sulfur allergy, the mothers low call as to avoid gaining weight when she had bouts of immobility and the father was an athlete and needed high protein high energy foods that we also gentle on his stomach.
