My name is Jay. I am certified in Emergency First Aid and CPR from Red cross with caregiving/yoga/relaxation experience. I am an honest, kind, reliable, and trustworthy person, that would love to help out a senior family member that is in need of assistance with companionship and other small chores, like light housekeeping/ cleaning/ grocery shopping/ walks/ exercises (stretch or chair yoga)/ hand massage/ facials etc. I have experience having assisted seniors with various ailments. I have been a caregiver for a senior couple, both in their 80’s. One of them had recently been involved in an accident and needed special care. My mother had cancer and my mother in - law had Alzheimer’s. I played 'brain games', and assisted with medication (taking and pick up of prescriptions), organizing personal spaces, doing chores like garbage, gardening and regular exercise. I would also be able to facilitate virtual communication with local or remote family members. I have a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. I live at Halifax and Gilmore in Burnaby.
