Application: Hello, My name is Elena Pauly, I am 33 years old and I run an international support group called WAGs of SCI; Wives and Girlfriends of Spinal Cord Injury. My partner sustained an SCI 4 years ago, which has lead my desire to help others who need support, love, care and community. The past year I have been employed by the Dana & Christopher Reeve Foundation, unfortunately Covid-19 has placed my contract on pause. After much contemplation of what my next step should be, I have decided I would love to work with the elderly in the Vancouver area or those living with a spinal cord injury. I am trained to be my partners full-time care giver if need be, my mother also has Parkinson’s which I believe has aided my knowledge of care and respect for all people.
