Elder Care in 100 Mile House, British Columbia

Dear Family, i am cathy 30 years old.I live and currently working in hongkong. addition to that, i am former staff nurse in the Philippines, and a previous caregiver of an elderly couple in hongkong for almost 5 years in one employer. these couple is suffering a pre-Dementia(grandpa) and a hypertensive crisis associated with asthma and a bedridden grandma. I assisted them all activities they had like bathing, exercises and tube feeding to grandma. i take their vital signs everyday, monitored their urine output and assisted their daily activities such as accompanying grandpa in the park. Mobilize and help grandma to change position every two hours to prevent complications of bed sores. Ido wound dressing as well and giving them medications. Hygiene and safety is my priority among them. I still have my time for myself though i can manage my time. I do hiking, biking, workout, take an adventure, yoga and playing guitar during my free time. I love to teaf non fictional books as well as watching movies. Being a paet of the family to take care of an elderly they have said that it is too difficult but being a nurse i can apply those preventive measurements and managements to help their progress from illness or diseases.
