My name is Janice. I am a mature very caring and compassionate person. I am a 47 yo active lady seeking a part-time job in helping an elder or an adult who needs help in the evenings, nights, or weekends. The greatest fear, next to falling, of an elder or any adult is their loss of independence. This is what I want to contribute; promote independence and health. I have classes during the week, so I cannot work days right now. I am knowledgeable in transferring, cooking, housecleaning, bathing, b&b, personal hygiene care, range of motion exercising and other caregiver skills. I have 8 years of Nursing Assistant experience on medical/surgical floor at the Veterans hospital, one year as a live-in Caregiver, and another year taking care of my father with diabetes and left amputee. I have references, personal and professional. I am reliable, dependable, experienced, and adaptable. I have a reliable car, but I only have liability so I won't be able to transport a client in my car. I am dedicated, attentive, pay attention to details, and you never have to worry about neglect.
