Hello please let me introduce myself...My name is April. I just recently moved here from Sacramento California. I have over 20 years of experience in taking care the elderly. When I lived in California I was (still am) finger printed and background checked with all agencies. I am currently still a caregiver to a 70 year old elderly lady who I have been providing care for 3 years now. I work with a agency called IHSS in California. I have been working with the elderly since I was 15 years old. I love working with the elderly. I worked very closely with the Roseville police department against elder abuse when I lived out in California. I also did several food drives to help feed the low income seniors that only had enough money to provide for their shelter and common house hold bills. I am also looking to work very closely with the Lake Dallas police department against elderly abuse of any kind! So as you can see I have a passion for the elderly. I thrive to be there and help my seniors. I am currently CPR certified also. I also was in nursing school for a year and half (have a few years left to finish but later I will) so I have experience in administering medication and Iv's. I have also worked in a few ER'S/nursing homes for my internship for nursing. I moved out to Texas cause my fiancé lives out here and I was ready to start a new journey in life. So here I am.
