Elder Care in Long Beach, California

I am currently working in a memory care/assisted living taking care of a Dementia/Alzheimer resident for 6 1/2 years.I helped residents in their ADL(activities daily living.Loved to help the elderly people because it reminds me of my grandparents. Sometimes it's difficult,not everyday they cooperate,they have different moods..... order for you to love these jobs,you have to have a lot of patience with out patience you can't stay in these job.I take my job seriously.I am a family oriented,grew up in a conservative surroundings.I was born and raised in the Philippines,I respect my elders.All my residents I took care they immediately love me for being passionate and loving to them,hugs and kiss them as my real grandparents.Take time to understand when they have problems try to resolved if I can. I am loved by family ,friends and most especially my residents and residents family.
