My nursing background allows me to give care with more understanding of the care plan and observation of client's needs and condition. Since 1998, I have worked as a community service worker with people in their homes, nursing homes, and independent living retirement homes. With experience, I have learned to deal with compassion, a developed good sense of humor, observation of likes and dislikes, and when to keep quiet and just listen. I believe that giving elder care goes beyond daily care of living assistance but with confidentiality, tact, without prejudice, and keeping in mind work and self-integrity at all times.
