Hello my name is Kelly. I am a registered nurse looking to branch out into non-medical Senior Companion Care. I am BLS certified and specialize in Rehab nursing, as well as Hospice and Palliative Care. I am well versed in caring for those with physical and cognitive limitations. I have a great amount of experience in assisting with ADLs, safety being the most important factor. I have knowledge of a wide range of conditions that affect the aging community, and how to best accommodate for these limitations. I have witnessed on many occasions just how hard it is on this population to transition from being an independent person, to being vulnerable and having to rely on others to care for them. I am passionate about in-home companion care because I believe a person should be able to stay in their home and retain their dignity, while having someone there to help them with their day-to-day activities.
