I have taken care of a couple people. The last time it was my Mom. She was sick and needed help for a couple months. I would help with her baths, getting dressed, prepared (very) simple meals. Mostly I was a companion, if she wanted to talk, I listened, if she cryed, I hugged. Yes, this was my mother, but ederly people are so sweet and special. Sometimes they just need to know someone cares. I do.
