Elder Care in Winnipeg, Manitoba

I have worked with preschoolers and children for many, many years in different ways; foster parent, school bus driver, daycare worker and nanny. For the last 2 years, I have been a companion to a senior in a care home. I enjoyed spending time with my client; we had a lot of fun! But eventually, I found the job too sedentary. I enjoy doing a variety of tasks. I am a more quiet person in some ways but I like to have fun at my job. I don't feel the need for constant conversation, but still like to learn about others and discussing different topics. I have completed CPR/First Aid many times because of my positions but it lapsed as of 2015. I had my last criminal record check and child abuse registry done in May of 2015. While I like routine I also enjoy planning little surprises to help brighten someone's day. I am willing to provide companionship, housekeeping, transportation and some personal care.
