Hi there, I’m Jamie, and I’m very passionate about caring for the elderly. I prioritize safety in the home, medication management/reminders, meal preparation if needed, personal care and cleanliness of the client, and more. I also truly enjoy getting to know my clients, and being able to spend time with them, hearing their stories and having the honor to care for them during their most vulnerable moments. I love to play cards, watch tv programs, go to bingo, go shopping, run errands, go for walks when weather permits, etc. I really think it’s vital to keep the mind and body active and to have some socialization as tolerated. EXPERIENCE: I have a plethora of experience in the home care setting and have also worked in skilled facilities and hospitals, for over eight years now. I specialize in dementia care, catheter care, med reminders, renal failure, cancer, Parkinson’s, Diabetes and insulin injections, and hospice care, just to name a few. I truly love what I do and don’t have a desire to do anything else-this is my purpose in life, to care for people. I hope we have the chance to chat soon!
