Good Day! I’m Aika, 24 years old, I’m hardworking, selfless, pro-active, easygoing, trainable, responsible person, and I have compassion on taking care of elderly, toddler and even to people around me, I’m attentive on my family and friends needs, I’m thoughtful and have initiative and softhearted especially to elderly and kid, I love to fulfill their needs, I know how to cook and love to learn how to cook different and new foods, I love asking things I want to know and learn also love listening to real life stories and life advice from elderly people and I love learning and realizing things from them also learning from the kids is also special for me because they’re teaching me to be a better person each day and taking care of elderly and kids for me is not just all about doing the job but also creating good relationship and healthy bonding along the way and making efforts to get to know them not just on the shallow level but also in deeper level and pay attention importantly to the things that also important to them and things that they don’t like not just a sign of respect but because they’re also important and needed to be consider and heard, also I put so much effort in doing my job and what’s needed to be done and I would love to learn and be trained new skills for my growth and improvement also I’m looking to a job that I can grow with. I have Red Cross first Aid Certificate of training and driver’s license and know how to drive manual car, I learned to drive a manual car knowing that the common vehicle that using abroad is automatic, I just consider learning manual because for me I will never know what may future patient car and it’s not impossible that I will encounter a manual car so for me it’s better to be prepared and ready for unexpected things for me to still be able to do my job like if my patient care is manual I will still be able to take my patient to the check up or any important appointment. As a compassionate and dedicated caregiver, I prioritize number one is the health and hygiene of seniors by providing nutritious complete meal plate and giving medicine and vitamins on time and create recreational activities that will help senior to improve physical health, reduce stress, unwind and have fun and it provide sense of connection by still being able to socialize either physically or online where they can join and experience games, exercise session and join workshop that based on their interest and in hygiene by assisting in bathing and oral care if needed. Second is safety by following all the safety measurement for the safety of the seniors and provide companionship care by talking, listening to them and get to know them not just in shallow level but also in deeper level where they will feel heard and consider thing that seniors wants and don’t wants and bringing them to places they need to go, check up and other appointment and join them in anything they will do if they they want and with consent and be still involve and pay attentions to the seniors needs and wants and sometimes bring them the new places or in the park to see new environment and refresh their mind.
