Elder Care in Millburn, New Jersey

Hi, I am Evandro. I am a certified nurse aide and currently work part-time as a program assistant at a senior living community. I work with residents in Continuing Care (e. g., assisted living and memory care) to stimulate their physical, intellectual, and emotional well-being by leading group and individual activities. Before switching to this career, I only truly felt happy and fulfilled when I was volunteering at a non-profit organization dedicated to helping poor and homeless senior citizens. When I was there, I enjoyed helping residents bathe, eat, and perform certain physical activities. I enjoyed organizing and participating in activities with the residents. But most of all, I enjoyed seeing the residents smile. Now, I have dedicated my career to bringing more happiness into the lives of senior citizens.
