I am a Practical Nursing Graduate from Centennial College-Morningside. I was previously employed by VHA homecare as a Personal Support Worker from August 2021 up until last month. I was previously employed as a Personal Support Worker at St. George Care Community last December 2020 up until July 2021 My nursing experience working with dementia and Alzheimer’s residents in Chartwell Trilogy from September-December 2019 -Experience in neurologic/stroke/oncology unit in a rehabilitation hospital from May to August of 2019 -Experience in head-to-toe assessment, total patient care, and medication administration -Excellent judgement, problem solving, and analytical skills -Exceptional verbal and communication skills in English -Exhibits excellent interprofessional relationship skills with patients, colleagues, and the patient’s significant others I migrated here in Canada way back in September 2014 as a caregiver to a then 85 year old diabetec elderly man and was his caregiver for 3 years.
