I completed a support worker course at City Adult Learning Centre. I did a five weeks clinical placement at Leisure world Long Term care Centre, 1800 O\' Connor Drive. I provided care to residents with dementia and Alzheimer disease. I also did another 3 weeks placement at Leister B. collegiate Institute, where I was taking care of children with developmental disabilities. I am a mature responsible person who works independently as well as part of a team. I know you find me a competent and enthusiastic support worker because I enjoy helping the elderly and children. I am also adaptable to new situations. Diligently practiced good sanitation and sterile technique to avoid infection and the spread of contagious illness Participated in maintaining residents' skin integrity Anticipated and provided assistance with feeding, ambulating, bathing, grooming, personal hygiene, toileting and incontinence care od Dementia and Alzheimer residents in a long term care setting Worked with people with learning disability or those who require extra support
