Elder Care in Apple Valley, California

My name is Ashlee Gonzales. I am 18 years old and I just graduated from High School. I haven't enrolled in my local community college yet, although I plan too. Considering I am not in school and am currently unemployed, I have a lot of time on my hands. I am in search of a job not only for money, but to start learning how to be independent. I need work experience and to keep myself occupied to make sure I stay on track. I come from a large family, and as a big sister and aunt I have learned a lot about caring for others. Not only with "maintenance" but how to handle situations with care and reason. My mother was also very sick and there was a time where I had to step in and take over responsibilities such as; cooking, cleaning, getting my sister to and from school, and keeping her on top of her homework and responsibilities. Through that I learned a lot, and developed certain skills I believe would help me in the field of care providing. I am great with time management and organization. I consider myself a people person, and believe that is a strength because through being social I learn a lot. I always try to learn from every situation I go through. I mentioned above that I plan to enroll in college, however I haven't decided what I plan to study. I have been considering studying Family and Consumer Sciences/Human Sciences. With the privilege of this job I can discover whether or not Human Sciences is for me, and I can begin my journey to independence. I hope you consider me. I am available to start working any time.
