I am a kind a compassionate person who has a clear understanding of dementia and dementia related disease. For the last four years I have been working as an Resident Care Partner (PSW) in Memory Care at Amica in Georgetown, ON. I have a passion for our elders who are suffering from this disease. In my position at Amica I was responsible for caring for many residents with Dimentia or Dementia related disease on a variety of levels. I am effective with redirection and distraction through kindenss and conversation and attention. My ultimate goal is to give dignity and respect to our elders - they raised us its my job to return the same respect.
