Hi, my name is Kerstin. I am a skilled employee with a solid background in healthcare, respite, hospice, staff management, finances, and business. Part of my skill set that I possess is a great ability to connect with people, and build deep, meaningful relationships. Therefore, one of the most fulfilling careers I had was as in Home and Community Care. I graduated with honors in 2022 and was hired as an employee with the Esketemc Health Department; after six years of employment, I opened my company, “Home To Stay”. Through my company, I continued to provide Esket, as well as Tsi Del Del, ICBC, and many other clients with self funded care. I managed my company and staff, providing support for the seniors, persons living with disabilities, and community to achieve their hope and desire to continue to live at home, and in many cases pass peacefully, in their spiritual, traditional style at home with friends and family. I utilized the CRM and communities eHealth solutions program to build care plans, staff schedules and to keep accounts up to date. I was successful in making a difference in the communities we serviced, which gave me a great sense of pride. My life coaching with Choices involved in-depth training in personality profiling. This training and experience has given me a great advantage in my career and personal life. This skill transfers very well in my work environment as I am able to be flexible, yet targeted in my conversations. I am a Canadian citizen that has worked from home, internationally, as well as in multiple communities. I speak English, am conversational in Spanish and can speak some Secwepemctsin.
