Hi. I am a nursing graduate from the Philippines. I worked as an adult caregiver in Israel for three years and four months. I have an experience in caring for Diabetic patient who needs monitoring of blood sugar as well as blood pressure and saturation and also with dementia. I arrived here in Canada a year ago and worked as a nanny for 2years old baby boy and 7 years old girl who has an ADHD. My duties and responsibilities are consist but not limited of the following: Assist with walking and light exercise Assist in transferring from wheelchair Plan and prepare meals, followed by clean-up Monitor blood pressure and saturation level Checking blood sugar Giving insulin when needed Monitor food expiration dates, make future meals Make beds and change linens, as needed Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming. Taking out garbage. Run errands ( Pick up prescriptions and medicines) Engage in physical and mental exercises Provide Medication Escort on appointments such as medical check up Escort religious services and events. Companionship
