Hello there Honours degree BA in Social Care Practice. I have just moved to Toronto from Ireland and is looking to continue my career as a career.While being in University I enhanced my skills and put them into use by volunteering with many different areas of disability (mental and physical). I have excessive amount of experience with working with people who have autism,cerebral palsy,dementia and downs syndrome as I have worked in a residential setting. I have also worked in day programmes and have worked one to one with the clients. I have worked both alone and within teams and with both have set goals/wishes for clients that were almost always met.I have dealt with personal care, administrate medication, assessments, bathing, light household work,preparing meals, working one to one with the individual to develop care plans/life plans/goals.
