As a caregiver - My duty is to assist residents with bathing, dressing, feeding, oral hygiene and all related personal care. Maintain clean and dry bed linens, gather and deposit soil laundry. I transfer residents in and out of bed and wheelchair, observe residents to report any physical and behavioral changes and other adverse reactions or treatments to medication to the nurse in charge. I make suggestions to improve the quality of work, train new employees, make routine entries into logs, complete requisitions for supplies and forward to supervisor for approval.
