10 year traveling CNA/PCT, currently finishing a contract with Stroger hospital in Chicago. I have traveled to Maine, Texas, Florida, and Georgia and have worked in all types of settings. I am incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to caring for person’s loved ones as well as a fast learner. I have had experience working in the ER, after surgery, labor and delivery, PEDS, LTC‘s, rehab centers, psych wards, assisted living facilities, in-home, etc. I have my certification to the American Heart Association for CPR. I have my CNA/PCT in Illinois, Wisconsin, Arizona, Maine, Texas, Florida, South Dakota, and in New Mexico. I also have many certifications from working my last contract at Stroger including but not limited to telly monitors, and AKG. I even have experience with assisting and providing light wound care and medication assistance. What allows me to stand out from my fellow CNA/PCT‘s is that I understand that no person needing our CARE is the same, regardless of their condition. It takes time, commitment, and a great deal of patience which are all traits I carry. Most of all I LOVE WHAT I DO!! I have a mother. I have a father. I have aunts, uncles, and grandparents. I understand how hard it is to trust a complete stranger with a love one. Which is why when caring for others I care for them as if I was caring for my own relative.
