Elder Care in Springtown, Texas

My name is Jessica ham I've recently moved here from the woodlands where I worked for Avatar home health and hospice care caring for two adult handicap boys whom I've been providing care for for the last 10 years with pay prior to that I was helping the family out of the goodness of my heart. Before moving to the woodlands in 2009 to move with the family to continue caring for the boys I cared for my elderly grandmother who had Progressive dementia and Alzheimer's. Her illness progressed more and more over a time period of about two years but while I was caring for her I did medication I gave her companionship we worked on activities we went outside and went on walks we had talks about the past Reminiscing on beautiful memories I love to make people smile I care for everyone and love everyone and I feel like God put me on this Earth for a reason and that reason is to take care of the ones who aren't able to care for themselves anymore I'm 32 years old I'm a mother of two I have a 7 year old little girl and a 9 year old little boy but have plenty of family in the area that are able to help me while I work I'm a single mom just trying to take care of my family I am engaged to a wonderful man that's helping also and has supported me throughout my career ever since we met we went to HighSchool together and have continued our relationship. My previous supervisor through Avatar is willing to give me an outstanding recommendation because she was so sorry to see me leave my mother and stepdad whom I've worked for since I was about 16 not always getting paid is who you can speak to you also about everything I did for my two handicap Brothers. Everything from grocery shopping to administering medications to picking up medications to assisting and dressing to changing diapers two outside activities in side activities cognitive therapy speech therapy Physical Therapy music therapy anything and everything to help better than and their potential future I have been a part of as well as so many others I hope that you can give me the opportunity to show you how good of a person I am and how much I will care for your loved ones I look forward to hearing from you. In college I started to go through nursing school to be an ADN and then become an RN as my mom is an RN with her Masters in nursing I have been around people that have been in the medical field all my life as they are all a part of my family and feel like even though I haven't gone to school and received that extensive schooling that everyone else has I'm just as smart and able to care for anyone that's needed as anyone else I use good judgement I follow rules and my main goal is to take care provide and make better.
