Elder Care in Steward, Illinois

I am a thirty seven year old female who lost her mother at a young age of twenty. I worked retail for eighteen years in management then decided I really wanted to do something different like helping someone. When my mom was ill I got to spend time with her reading and chit chatting and just being there for her, at the time I didn't need to cook for her or give her medication or bathe her but those are things I am perfectly capable of doing for someone. I feel that it is very important for the family and the person being taken care of to have someone that is sincere and genuine not someone who is there just to collect a paycheck. No matter what the age or the condition of someone we are all human and like to have company, tell stories, laugh, and even cry.
