Description: Hello my name is Nicole. I'm seeking a companion carer position or child care position I n Freeport, New York. I will be a hardworking, exceptional employee. I am available weekdays from mornings until approximately 5pm . Evenings from 9 pm on . And weekends from mornings until 5pm as well as any time from 9pm . Can be somewhat flexible . Service Abilities: I will take care of social support, dementia care, companionship , cooking and light cleaning , laundry as needed. I also have personal transportation available. I have over 5 years of experience. I worked with a lovely woman for over two years who had dementia . I was the sole caregiver for a friend last year while on hospice from my home for approximately 5 months. I've also cared for a young teen with cerebral palsy occasionally as needed. I come from a big family and have 5 siblings . I love children and have a soft spot for the elderly or emotionally challenged. I'm extremely friendly, outgoing , patient with others and strive to maintain a positive outlook in even the dimmest of situations . I believe that being positive and spreading positivity only brings back more of the same great energy . I was raised with good morals and respect , taught to always be kind because you never know someone's situation and what they may be struggling with. It's always been important to me to help others In need whenever possible . I'm also active in many local Facebook groups offering assistance when possible . I collect and give away people's unwanted items to others who aren't financially able to purchase things themselves . Helping people is what makes me happy .
