Overview: I hope you are having a good day. I am interviewing for a homecare worker position in Greenwood, Mississippi. I hope to apply my abilities as a homecare worker. Available now. Description of Skills: I have experience with running errands, transporting people to appointments/shopping, cooking, and light housekeeping. I have my Care Core Certificate from the Institute of Professional Care Education (IPCed). I took care of my husband Tom, who had multiple disabilities including a broken back, Type 2 Diabetes, and heart problems. He passed away in 2009. I provided transportation for my client Irene of Winona MS, who had glaucoma and couldn't drive. I took her on errands, helped clean her house, etc. I was a caregiver for my friend Billie before she passed away of Alzheimer's. I ran errands, bought food for her, fixed her breakfast, washed her dishes, made sure she had enough water to drink, etc. I'm currently helping with her grandson JJ, who has Multiple Sclerosis. I provide transportation for him and do light housekeeping. (He can't drive.) I have my Care Core Certification from the Institute of Professional Care Education.
