I was previously a C.N.A. years back, so I'm familiar with total care, post surgical care, taking vitals, how to change a pad/adult brief/or bed properly and as gentle as possible. I know how to properly transfer, bathe, dress, and assist individuals with all aspects of daily life. I can promote as much "self-care" as possible while maintaining a persons dignity. I have been trained in Pharmacology, medication administration, as well as how to watch for drug interactions. I also know what to watch for when it comes to infection and I am a very caring, nurturing, upbeat person. I also worked as a Mental Health Technician for an Adult Day Services program in Bradford, PA, so I am familiar with the unique needs of the MR/MH community. I'm 43, married, and reside in Lyons, GA.
