I am a well experienced elderly carer. Had recently took care of an elderly diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease(COPD). Been with the client for nine(9) years until he passed away a few months ago. I also took care of my own father for Five(5) years, from 1999-200..., he had an Incomplete Spinal Cord Injury caused by an accident and he was also diagnosed with COPD. On both work experiences I did the same day to day activity/job for them such as administering medications as prescribed by their doctors; help them in all aspects of activities of daily living(ADL) such as toiling, walking, transfers, bed position, range of motion exercises and the likes; making sure that they have proper hygiene at all times; making sure that they're eating properly and with proper foods; accompanying to doctors appointments; and doing errands when needed.
