Description of Skills: I provide physical support and care for clients in their home by assisting with personal hygiene which included: getting out of bed,bathing or sponge bath, dressing, utilizing the toilet, walking, standing and or exercising. I address cognitive issues by reading their daily newspaper, books,photo albums to review lifetime celebrations. I ensure proper diet and their dietary restrictions and allergies. Distribute, remind and encourage ordered medications and treatments while observing behavior, complaints, or physical symptoms. I am able to think and work independently and with direction, and communicate with clients, families and medical professionals as needed.
