I have been a Caregiver for about 20yrs. it has been a job that I love doing. I have done home care where I did housekeeping and going with them on appointments. For the past several years I have worked in an Assisted Living Facility where I worked in the Memory Care Unit . Taking care of Seniors who are at different stages of Alzheimer's and dementia. It has been a real interesting experience I have learned a lot from the residents that I care for. The places some of them have been to see and things they have done are really amazing. I love finding out what kinds of jobs they had and what they did for fun. By showing them that I am interested in their life experiences they have shared with me some very interesting stories about their life growing up. We get to be good friends and have a good relationship one that I will cherish for life. I have a lot of respect for them and everything they went through, life was not always easy for them .
