Sincerity, respect, dignify, support self sufficiency and protect. I am experienced caregiver and have learned not all caregivers have these characteristics or ability to walk in someone else's shoes. I learned through example by my father, who was a Baptist minister. We lived right outside of Fort Worth and on Saturdays, and as a young girl, I accompanied my father to nursing homes....just because that is who he was! Continuing in his footsteps puts a smile on my face. Oh, music is a big part of my life and I believe it speaks to almost everyone. You may hear me hum or sing a tune.
