Elder Care in Sherwood Park, Alberta

I come from Europe, Croatia, 29 years old. I am registered nurse there. I worked in institution for mentally ill adults for five years and as a dental assistant for the past two years and can provide references. I assisted patients with bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, feeding and elimination. Helped patients move in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs. Changed wound bandaging, performed colostomy care, checked vital signs, blood pressure, temperature and pulse, monitored blood sugar levels of diabetic patients, gathered laboratory samples as needed. Performed injections, vaccinations. Maintained records of patient care, condition, progress and concerns. Administered medications while ensuring correct dosage, frequency and appropriate use by patient according to physician's orders and ordered medical supplies. I was also cleaning, changing of bed linen, doing laundry, making meals and coffee for afternoon snack. Then we had gathering when we talked about a topic or had working occupational therapy such as making cards, pictures, playing games, listening music or went for a walk. I'm non smoker, comfortable with pets and possess a driver's licence. My hobbies are; reading, dancing, learning new languages, socializing, walking, love spending time in nature, parks, outside. I am responsible person who takes seriously its obligations and always give my best. I am patient and understandable with the elderly. Also I am neat and well doing household chores. Currently I am visiting Canada as a tourist. I like Canada very much so I am looking for opportunity to stay and work here but I need somebody who can provide me lmia.
