Hi my name is Claudia. Im married with two kids and three grandchildren. I'm available to be a companion for an elderly person. Alzheimer's is kind of my specialty. My interest in Elder care with Dementia/ and or Alzheimer started about five years ago when my own grandmother with diagnosed with the disease. I started reading about the disorder and taking classes and earning certificates of completion from the Alzheimer's Association in Marin County. I now realize how important is a companion and or someone to be in charge of meds, groceries, and daily activities and not to mention helping the elderly engage into their day to day activities with guidance, love and respect. Isolation and depression is one of the factors that gets the disorder into advance stages. I would love to be able to help someone feel secure and less isolated.
