Ann was initially a provider for my mother (who lived with me). She took care of her for several years with patience. My mother could be difficult and demanding, but Ann took it in stride and met her needs with zero attitude problems. She was dependable, trustworthy and reliable. She kept my mother's master bedroom and bathroom clean as well as her bedside potty. She assisted her in bathing and her daily ablutions. She also ensured she had breakfast and lunch, and rode with her (via transportation lift service) to all of her many doctor's appointments. After my mother died at age 88, my father's health failed immediately (3 months later) and I immediately thought of Ann. She already had another job, but agreed to come on Saturdays to help with cleaning his room, washing his clothes, etc. When the person she was taking care of passed away, she came to work with my dad during the week, even helping him bathe because he was unable to manage by himself. She shaved him, cut his nails, did his laundry, and cleaned his master bedroom and bathroom. He died this past May at age 90 and I can honestly say I don't know how I would have made it through those 3 years of his illness without Ann.
