Elder Care in Hermon, New York

I worked 12 years in the homes and nursing homes for the elderly. I then did personal care for a family when there family members were sick and three passed away from cancer. I provided all personal care ,medicine and personal hygiene for them made them their breakfast or lunch, dinner depending on the time of day. I made up their weekly medicine and if their were still mentally stable had it within reach if needed if not was there when they had to have it. I cleaned their living space to include bathroom bedroom and living area did trips to the store and pharmacy. I made sure they did not need for anything that it was all taking care of I provide rides to the drs office if a family member Could not take them. In their last days I made sure they were not left alone and the passed peacefully, I would make appointments and call drs if they were needed and take to the er if unable to get a hold of anyone. I would exercise the ones that could walk and make sure they were turned if unable.
