Hello, my name is Amy Brown . I have been in the childcare field for over 25 years, and am now hoping to also care for older people that want to stay in their homes. I am new to the area of the Villages and really enjoy it. I have met so many older residents here and I love spending time with them. So many older people want to share their memories and have long conversations with someone interested. I truly love hearing their stories and love spending time with them. I know how tough it is to have an aging parent and feel guilty for not being able to spend a lot of time with them due to work and family obligations etc.. I was in the same situation with my own father years ago and I was so relieved to find a caring companion for him. I am a mother of two grown boys (20,25) and a step mother to two grown girls (19,24) and love them so very much.
