I am DESIRE, and I provide full-time, part-time, and live-in/live-out elder care services for families in Ontario. As a Pharmacy graduate, I am qualified to provide nursing care, personal care, home care, hospice, and respite. I am also certified in CPR and standard first aid and can administer medication as necessary. As a licensed and practicing pharmacist for about 6years in Nigeria before moving to Canada, I have deep understanding of medications, drug interactions, and the pharmacological care that underpins patient health. Over the years, my passion has extended beyond the confines of the pharmacy, leading me to appreciate the holistic approach required in healthcare. I've developed a profound respect and interest in nursing care, personal care, home care, hospice, and respite services. These areas are fundamental in ensuring that patients not only receive appropriate medical treatment but are also granted the dignity, comfort, and personalized attention they deserve in various stages of their lives. I firmly believe that my background in pharmacology complements these care services, offering a unique perspective and expertise that bridges the gap between medication management and comprehensive patient care. For my services, I charge at least $18.00 an hour.
