ELDER CARE COMPANION Who has a loved one that doesn’t get the attention or time you’d like them to have? If you’re trying to balance raising children, work and all life is throwing at you, allow me to help. I will spend time with your loved one at their home or at their assisted living facility. I will take them to lunch, a movie, the dry cleaners to get an ice cream cone or the grocery store. I will unpack their groceries, take them to doctors appointments or the park. Whatever helps you and makes your loved one feel cared for and valued is my goal. Recently I was laid off from General Motors due to a companywide restructuring effort. Since then, I’ve decided to switch gears and use my college degree in one of the ways it was intended. I have a bachelors degree in social work, I am certified in CPR, first aid, have a chauffeurs license, a dependable car and I am a notary.
